After the meeting President Borut Pahor expressed his hope that the consultations with deputy group heads on the candidate for Prime Minister-designate would be conducted on Monday and Tuesday, if necessary also on Wednesday.

Pahor is expected to announce his nominee to the National Assembly after the extended holiday weekend, so that Members of Parliament could vote on the nomination on 22. August, and vote on the appointment of the new government in mid-September.
