Daily Dnevnik writes that Agrokor has not given up on the acquisition of Mercator. However funders are not willing to pay half a billion euros forthe acquisition of the company. Agrokor has therefore approached the creditor banks of Mercator in hope of an at least EUR 350 million debt relief. This move would persuade funders to sign a business deal with Agrokor.
