Last night the Police processed approximately 1000 refugees who had crossed the state border illegally in the vicinity of the village of Paradiž. Croatia brought 1000 refugees to Rigonce by train. Slovenia was not informed of the arrivals.
Policemen accompanied refugees who entered our country on foot to the Assembly Centre in the former factory Beti in Dobova. Only on Tuesday there were more than 5,000 refugees in the Posavje region.
Brawl in Šentilj
Late in the evening approximately 3,000 refugees left the Accommodation Centre in Šentilj. They left in groups towards Austria, which had been willing to accept only approximately 200 people. It caused dissatisfaction among refugees, but the Police managed to control it; and in the end all the refugees were accepted into Austria.
