"After intensive unravelling during the last days I received today the opinion by the Public Accounting Directorate. It was established that the transfer of contractual assets to the Vitanje municipality was justified, and that the use of public funds by KSEVT was justified and transparent. Thus I decided to stop harming my health, and dedicate myself, together with the government team, to constructive transition of KSEVT into a functional institution," Turšič explained his standpoint in his announcement about the end of his hunger strike.

The activities will start next week
He explained that the handshake with the president of the government Miro Cerar who visited him at the Museum of Modern Art between the discussions of the state chancellors and members of parliament at the emergency session of the Committee of Culture confirmed the regulation of the status of KSEVT. Therefore he believes the necessary steps will be taken to establish KSEVT on firm production fundaments.
