Following Saturday's match at London's Selhurst Park stadium, Jose Mourinho, coach of leading Premier league team Chelsea, gave a few words ahead of tomorrow's (Oct 21) match against Maribor in the UEFA Champions League.
Asked about what he thinks of his next opponents from Slovenia and about the upcoming match, Mourinho said:
"What we think of Maribor? All the best. I will say it like this: Maribor is expecting a result. They won a point when playing against Schalke in Germany, and they won 1:0 against Portugal's Sporting; I know they will do everything in order to get a point at London's Stamford Bridge. Last but not least, one shouldn't forget, that we were both equally successful against Schalke. The only difference being in Maribor winning abroad, which is a serious warning for me. That is why I have studied their game well enough during my fifteen day-break. It is true, that many perhaps expected that Maribor will not get any points up until this point, but we can see that that is not the case. At the same time, we, too, need to win, as we urgently need three points. Since I very much respect Maribor, I tend to bring the best team of 11 to the field.''
