Mramor repeated that as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics he had authorised the payment of bonuses in good faith, and again apologized to those affected. Weeks ago he had declared his intention to repay only the amount set by the inspectorate in instalments, due to the state of his personal finances, but in the end he did repay the entire amount of 23,312.92 euros to the Faculty of Economics.

Minister Maja Makovec Brenčič also announced her intention to repay the entire sum of the controversial bonus. She had already repaid the amount of 3,150 euros, and will repay the remaining 14 thousand euros within next days.

The initiator of the session of the parliamentary Committee on Education and the Commission of Public Finance Control was the opposition SDS party, with the purpose of discussing the controversial bonuses. Mramor attended the session for only half an hour; he repeated his apology and regrets for the payment of bonuses, and then left in spite of the protests of the deputies demanding his presence during the entire duration of the session.
