Yesterday evening at the extraordinary session the municipal councillors unanimously supported the endeavours by the municipality and tradesmen to purchase RTC Krvavec, as they consider that would open new opportunities for development of tourism and expansion of economy at the area.

The municipality would buy one fourth of Krvavec, and, following the example of ski resorts in Italy and Austria, the remaining part would be bought by entrepreneurs and employees. This is the second attempt by the Municipality of Cerklje, which is doing its best to keep Krvavec in local ownership.

The entrepreneurs will meet again today. It is the first attempt at connecting the tourist providers and the municipality, which also the entrepreneur Andrej Kosec considers a challenge. "In principle the interest exists, but once the financing must be guaranteed things might change. We will make certain formal commitments," he explained.
Yesterday the councillors joined ranks. After the opposition obstructed the previous session due to dissatisfaction with the work of the municipal council and the municipality, they called an extraordinary session. The opposition councillor Matevž Bohinc rejects the reproaches. "We have no intention of obstructing decisions regarding the development of the municipality – which includes all developmentally oriented plans, and RTC Krvavec as well," Bohinc explained.
