The SDS party, which finished in second place, was the only party not invited to the talks. Talks yesterday included the NSi, the Alenka Bratušek alliance, the United Left, and DeSUS. The talks yesterday included general discussions about possibly joining a coalition. None of the invited parties have ruled the idea out, although the United Left has suggested that they will probably end up in the opposition due to a conflict of ideas, especially with regard to the privatization process in Slovenia.
Cerar will continue with negotiations next week. He has said that a coalition will mostly likely be put together by next Friday, the first of August.
