The most beautiful among European capitals is ranked 22nd when it comes to quality of taxi services. Taxi services and city authorities wanted to set a rule in which candidates who want to drive a taxi are not allowed to have any criminal convictions. Otherwise taxi drivers will continue to be licensed by the Chambers of Craft. Taxi licenses will have to be extended after a year. Vehicles will have to have a sticker of the license and another one showing clearly that the municipal tax had been paid. The maximum fare price will be a euro and a half per km and taxi drivers will not be allowed to charge for any additional services. If the city council approves the new rules the changes will come into force next month.
