The draw was made in French Nyon today.

The two teams will compete for a spot in the Champions League. Viktoria is a very tough opponent. It is the reigning Czech league champion. To reach the final round the team defeated the Bosnian and Estonian champions.
The first match will take place on 20 August in the Czech Republic. The return game will be played a week later in Maribor.
If Maribor wins, this will be the second appearance in the Champions League as they made the group stage in the season 1999/2000.
