At the same time NLB recorded a total revenue of 178,6 million euros, which is four percent less than in the first six months of 2014. Meanwhile the bank's impairments and provisions fell by 20 percent, and stood at 42,8 million euros.
At the group level NLB recorded a net revenue of 243,6 million euros, which is three percent less than in the first half of last year. The group's impairments and provisions stood at 41 million euros, which is 38 percent less than in the first six months of 2014.
The business results of the NLB Bank in the first half of the year before the impairments and provisions stood at 86,2 million euros, which is three percent less than in the same period last year. At a group level the result was 98,6 million euros, two percent less than in the January-June period last year.
NLB's supervisory board, which was presented with the results on Thursday, assessed the same as better than expected. For the second half of the year the bank forecasts slower dynamics for generating profits.
