On Sunday in Brussels, at a mini summit of ten EU member states and the Western Balkans, the PM will emphasize that Europe must seek solutions together. That was announced by Cerar, during his visit at the accommodation centre for refugees in Brežice.
At the same time talks are underway for the Austrians to open a third entry point to their country. At the moment there is an agreement that allows temporary crossings from Jesenice. Cerar also stressed that Slovenia was ready to intensify its measures until in ensures an adequate level of security.
The situation in general is stable. Cerar said it was a bit more tense in Brežice due to the large concentration of people. The PM also repeated that there has been no such response from his Croatian counterpart Zoran Milanović, which would indicate a wish for cooperation regarding his proposals. PM Cerar stressed that Croatia was not keeping to its agreements, which is causing problems.
