On September 1st, Tuesday, the Odprta kuhna market will be for the first time organized in Koper, in Taverna at the Carpaccio Square between 11 a.m. and 23 p.m.

Local providers, as well as restaurants from all over the country will introduce their offer at the stands in Taverna. Visitors will be able to taste a variety of Slovenian and international traditional dishes, get acquainted with new tastes, cooking techniques, and a number of familiar, and less familiar ingredients.

Awards by visitors and experts
The market has become a success story from the very beginning, it is now one of the attractions of Ljubljana not to be missed. It attracts both local inhabitants and tourists. The concept of Odprta kuhna is very simple: to gather providers of all kinds of food and beverages each Friday at the market of aromas and tastes.

The project Odprta kuhna was last year awarded two important professional prizes – the Jakob award for the quality and excellence in tourism of Alps-Adriatic, and the Sejalec award for innovative achievements in tourism.
