The first two forecasts have significantly worsened the prognosis for Slovenia. Our country and Cyprus are the only ones in the Eurozone who will see their GDP shrink next year.
In late May, the OECD announced a 2.3% drop in GDP in Slovenia. The organization predicted a 0.1% growth next year. This forecast is very likely to turn for the worse. At the beginning of November the European Commission has predicted that Slovenia will see a 2.7% contraction in GDP.
