Extremely successful in double sculls with Čop
His biggest achievements were reached in double sculls with Čop. They became both world champions and Olympic Champions in 1999 and 2000, and in 2004 and 2012 they won silver, and bronze medals at the Olympic games.

Two gold and silver medals from World Championship should be mentioned as well, while in World Cup races he stood at the podium 16 times.
