On this occasion he said that this is already the third government in the past two years which underlines the political instability of the country. It makes it also difficult for governments to take needed measures to improve the situation in the country.
He therefore hopes that the new government will have the opportunity to govern for the next four years and urged the new cabinet to adopt structural reforms. Slovenia is slowly recovering from the crisis Pahor said noting this will make it a little easier for the new team at the start.
The new cabinet held its first session last night and approved its first staff appointments and named several new state secretaries.
