In Ribno, in the close vicinity of the Ribno Hotel, in the shade of a spruce forest, a new glamping settlement of six ecologic wooden huts was constructed.
The huts named after Slovenian flowers (Bellflower, Carnation, Edelweiss, Lady's slipper, Gentian, Lily of the valley) are strategically located between the Bled Lake and the Sava river. All the huts are made of Slovenian wood, and the design and the interior of the huts is made by Slovenian designers and craftsmen.
The luxury and the prices of the Ribno Glamping camp is somewhere in between the pioneer Camping Bled glamping version, and the more elite Bled Garden Village version which followed in 2014 which is targeting foreign markets with its prices and promotion.
The new huts in Ribno can house up to four people; they are insulated and heated which makes them suitable also for enjoying a winter idyll. They are furnished with two wardrobes, tabourets, armchairs, bunks, a TV set, and a private hot tub on the outside terrace.
From sauna to picnic baskets
A separately located private bathroom, saunas, a massage parlour, and a shared covered space with a hearth are available to guests; those wishing a zen holiday can also book classes given by a hatha yoga instructor, or a healer.
In Ribno they are aware of the fact that nowadays guests demand much more than only a comfortable bed; their guests can thus also enjoy the culinary offer with local dishes. They are preparing morning or evening baskets with Slovenian dishes, similar to those offered by Camping Bled, which they can order to be delivered to the front terrace of the hut.
The prices for overnight stay at such a hut range from EUR 90 off-season to EUR 160 in high season.
