Awards for achievements during the past season – in the form of statuettes – went to skiers who had won podium positions: Ana Bucik, Meta Hrovat, Žan Kranjec, Jakov Fak, Tim Mastnak, Rok Marguč, Žan Košir, Filip Flisar, Jernej Damjan, Anže Semenič, Peter Prevc, Nika Križnar, and Jure Aleš, as well as the ski flying teams, the men's ski jumping team, the women's ski jumping team, and the mixed-gender Telemark team.

A special honor went to Tone Vogrinec, the former head of SZS, who again bid farewell to the organization. To mark the occasion, legendary skiers Bojan Križaj, Tomaž Čižman, Jure Košir, Rene Mlekuž, Špela Pretnar, and Urška Hrovat gave him a new set of skis so he wouldn't forget the sport. Križaj thanked the legendary manager with a speech that was, in Vogrinec's opinion, much more eloquent than those when Križaj was still a competitor.

"I'm surprised. I never expected this. At SZS, they asked me if I had time to join them at the event, but I never imagined that I would get another farewell. I hope that the next one won't be at my gravesite," said Vogrinec.

Ilka Štuhec, making a comeback from her injury, was at the center of attention. "My past successes are just a memory; I have to look ahead. I feel well and I'm looking forward to the start of the season." As is usually the case, the World Cup season will begin in Sölden later this month, while other World Cup competitors will make their debuts in November.
