Pirc Musar was appointed director general of Slovenia's public radio and television broadcaster RTV in the spring but the decision was later revoked.

A revote was conducted, which she lost to Marko Filli, the current head of RTV. She said that this was one of the reasons why she decided to withdraw from the public sector and start a new career.
