How to attract and invite guests and tourists to the green Pohorje, which offers many outdoor pleasures also in the summer? A Bike Park was opened, which allows brave riders to test their downhill skills. At the same time, private caterers and tourism providers are connecting for a common goal – to attract more guests to Pohorje.

From the start of the season Bike Park Pohorje has sold 2,400 different tickets - 120 of them season tickets. The Austrians rank number one among foreign guests. Open for visitors are the Flow and World Cup bike tracks, and work is currently underway on the third Red Line track, which will be opened later in the season.

A goal to attract more tourists
So, how do you attract guests to come to Maribor’s Pohorje? Starting on the 1st of September, Miran Ferk from the Playgreen company will take over the management of the Arena, Bolfenk and Videc hotels. "The vision of the company is to connect all those working in sports, culture and other events, and attract as much tourists as possible to Maribor, to Pohorje, and also for sightseeing. Above all, we see success in connecting all those who work in tourism in Maribor," said Ferk.

The above-mentioned hotels are still for sale, and among the potential buyers is also Ferk.
