The Police Trade Union officially cancelled a strike yesterday, which was supposed to be launched today. As the union’s strike committee has explained last night, the government has fulfilled the demands of the union
One of the most important demands had already been met last week when the annex to the collective agreement for police officers had been signed.
That agreement states several things, for example how overtime hours will be charged, when officers have to be on standby and when they can take a leave due to special working conditions. The collective agreement has been extended for five years.
