Peter Kunstič, the Acting President of the company, said in a press release published today that Polzela already called upon the state and the Financial Administration to unfreeze the account as soon as possible. According to Kunstič, the ideal scenario would see the Financial Administration unfreeze their account by August 18, which would allow the company to pay at least part of the salaries owed to employees – and ask them to return to work.
The state-owned company will find out sometime after August 25 whether it can resume operations despite the fact that it owes taxes to the Financial Administration. Polzela has already secured enough orders for the autumn.
