The findings of the investigation are confidential. A person under investigation has the right to be presented with the findings of the investigation and the right to present new evidence. However, the person is not obliged to respond to summons. The prosecution has not yet been able to deliver its post to Janez Janša.
The specialised state prosecution office reportedly tried to deliver its post with a courier in March, when the investigation was completed. The delivery was unsuccessful. The post was then reportedly sent again, this time to Janez Janša's employer, the National Assembly. "I can confirm that the National Assembly has received the post. We shall abide by the law on criminal procedure and we shall act according to it," stated Milan Brglez, the Speaker of the National Assembly.
It is only after the hearing that the prosecution will have the legal basis to file a lawsuit, in order to confiscate all property of illegal origin. Janez Janša reportedly has much more illegal property than what the Corruption Prevention Commission found out. According to unofficial sources from POP TV, prosecutors have discovered Janez Janša to have unexplained property worth more than half a million euros.
