The environmental agency has already declared a red alert for Slovenia. They’ve also noted that the rivers in northwest Slovenia are rising and that heavy rain is expected in the next few days.

The towns of Škofja Loka, Begunje and Kranj had reports of flooded buildings, including a flooded elementary school in Kranj.
The heavy rain is expected to last until Saturday.
