The possibility that refugees choose to continue their journey through Slovenia cannot be ruled out.

The National Security Council discussed a report on the activities undertaken during the arrival of migrants in Slovenia in September and October 2015. They were presented with reports on the activities of the Ministry of the Interior, the police, the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, the Slovenian Army, the Ministry of Health and the activities of the Slovenia’s Intelligence and Security Agency (SOVA).

Various assessments and predictions point in the direction that a growing number of migrants in the region wish to continue their journey towards their main goals in Western Europe. It is not ruled out that their transitory journey goes through Slovenia. In such a case, many individual entries can be expected on a daily basis - even more than what was witnessed during the first wave of refugees, informs the Government Communication Office.
