‘The great goal of Primož Roglič is to wear the pink jersey on the Giro. This will be one of the main goals of our team in the next season,’ wrote Roglič’s team Jumbo-Visma on Twitter.

This year, Roglič dazzled on Tour of France. He won one of the stages and finished fourth overall. It has been announced at the team's official presentation that Roglič will be the captain of the Dutch Jumbo at Giro, while Steven Kruijswijk will be the team's first man on Tour of France and Vuelta.

The Tour of Italy will take place between 11th May and 2nd June and the Tour de France between 6th and 28th July.
