Ivan Novak from Laibach has often raised the issue of North Korea's lack of technical equipment. Even normal things like additional cables can complicate matters, which is why it is not surprising that all the equipment cannot be transferred to another location in just one day, and at the same time guarantee a good performance.
“This is a small step for Laibach, but a big step for humanity.”
Jure Tepina, a POP TV journalist who is following Laibach's tour live, says the band has achieved what it set out to do in North Korea, as it wasn't banned. Some of their songs were censored and erased from the playlist, but at the end the band did perform at a sold-out venue in front of some 1.500 guests. During the one hour concert, Laibach played ten songs.
