Approximately 529,000 eligible voters can cast their vote until the closure of polling stations at 19.00 hours. In the first round on 5 October mayors were elected in 158 municipalities. In the other municipalities, where none of the candidates received an absolute majority of votes, the winner will be determined in today's vote. Voters will be able to choose between the two candidates, who fourteen days ago won the most support.
If in any municipality the votes are divided exactly in half, then the new mayor will be decided by lot.
