Entertainment on the platform continued late in the afternoon, while the first lovers of snow hurried up to Pohorje.

The Mariborsko Pohorje ski resort opened the Sleme chairlift on Saturday, while the Areh ski resort has made Žugart, Areh, Ruška and Cojzerica available. This season's novelties include an upgraded system of ticketing – which is supposed to prevent abuse and serve as a test toward a single card for more services – and the Bellevue children's polygon with two ribbons measuring a total of 210 metres in length, which started operating this weekend as a replacement of the so-called “Old Baby”. And the Pohorje ski area was particularly bustling with young skiers on Saturday as well as those having fun on the sleigh.

The actual ski season at Mariborsko Pohorje will begin once the Čop ski run opens and once skiers are able to ski down into the valley, although the Stolp chair lift and Videc ski lift are scheduled to start operating this Sunday already.
