In Ljubljana’s Stožice Arena in the second match of the second part of European Championship the Slovenes won 65:73.
However, it was not without drama. Although the Slovenians were leading in the 27th minute with 26 points, towards the end of the third and fourth quarters they allowed the Greeks to make up 20 points leaving just a difference of six points.
Nevertheless the Slovenes fought back in the last part of the game winning the match and a place in the quarterfinals.
In yesterday's two other matches in the second round Group F, Croatia beat Italy 76:68 and Spain won against Finland 82:56.
