Razingar scored Slovenia’s first goal in the 22nd minute of play. Anže Kuralt scored in the 26th minute to seal Slovenia’s victory. "The first two periods were excellent. That's how we should play the whole game. Perhaps we started to complicate things too much after the two goals," said Slovenia's captain Tomaž Razingar.
The Slovenian hockey team will take on Ukraine tomorrow. A victory against Ukraine would mean that Slovenia would enter the elite division of ice hockey teams. Slovenia is now in 2nd place in its group, behind Japan, but ahead of Austria and Ukraine.
