The qualification matches will be played between the 31st of August and the 17th of September 2016. The winners of the seven qualification groups and the best four second-placed teams will qualify for the European championships. Eurobasket 2017 will be hosted by Finland, Romania, Turkey and Israel. 13 countries have already secured a ticket to the tournament.
