Slovenia beat Belarus with 3:0. Coach Matjaž Kopitar said the team knew what to expect, that they made very few mistakes, and took advantage of their opportunities.

In the first round Slovenia also beat Japan with 3:1. The friendly Euro Challenge Ice Hockey tournament is back in Ljubljana after a two-year absence. Today Slovenia plays its last game of the competition against neighbouring Austria.
