The slovenian team has been in the lead for the major part of the game with a maximum of nine points at the beginning of the second half of the match (44:35, 48:39).
The game took place in front of almost 11,000 fans at the Stožice Arena in Ljubljana. Two minutes before the end of the game, Lithuania managed to get extra points and tied with Slovenia (71:71), however this was followed by a decisive score of three points by Jaka Klobučar. The best shooter of the game was Domen Lorbek, he scored 18 points.
Slovenia's national team will fly to the Canary Islands this evening. They are scheduled to play a warm-up match with the USA on Tuesday at 8pm. Four days later they will open the World Cup Championships with a game against Australia.
