The net employment outlook after seasonal data adjustments stands at 11 percent. According to a survey conducted by the Manpower employment agency, which included 620 employers, the figures represent the best outlook in the last six years. Compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year, the net employment outlook has improved by five percentage points.

Slovenian job market expects stability
According to the survey, 14 percent of employers are expected to increase staffing levels, six percent expect a fall in jobs, while 77 percent of employers taking part in the survey do not expect any changes in their employment structures in the October-December period.

Four industry sectors report the strongest employment outlooks since the survey began six years ago. These include the manufacturing sector (+21 percent), construction (+18 percent), the public and social service sectors (+10 percent) and the restaurants and hotels sector (+8 percent).

The transport, storage and communication, and wholesale and retail sectors also have good hiring prospects, as employers report of a 14 percent net employment outlook.
At the same time employers in the agriculture sector, hunting, forestry and fishing sectors expect no new employments in the last three months of the year.
