It was all about Slovenia in Japan as its jumpers made it an all-Slovenia podium. It was a historic day also for jumper Jernej Damjan who achieved his first World Cup victory ever.

At the same time Peter Prevc took the overall lead in the World Cup standings, coming in second, while Robert Kranjec finished thrid.
