The Slovenian MP Miro Cerar claims that Slovenia respects the results of the referendum, and that the Slovenian government remains sympathetic with the Greek nation, and is helping within its means and in compliance with the existing rules and mechanisms. On Tuesday Cerar will participate at the Eurogroup summit in Brussels. He expects a new proposal by the Greek government, acceptable for Greece and for the other members of the European Union, which will be based on a convincing plan for structural reforms in Greece.

"It's the only way for the Greek economy to establish sustainable foundations on which a better future for the Greek population can be built, and which would assure also stability of the entire European Union. Any attempts by the Greek government lacking sincerity and constructive purpose for reaching an agreement on the future help to Greece will be rejected by the Slovenian government," Cerar assured.
