This morning Radio Slovenia reported that 25 centimetres of snow had fallen in Ljubljana, 27 cm in Celje, 10 cm in Slovenj Gradec, 13 cm in Maribor, 9 cm in Murska Sobota and 23 cm in Novo mesto. The snowfall will cease during the night and the strong, cold winds will slowly abate.

On the roads are snow plough teams that are clearing and gritting road surfaces, but whilst driving great caution and patience are necessary.
