Slovenia's post office Pošta Slovenija will issue a special set of postal stamps on Friday. Among those stamps there will also be the so called Olympic stamp showing Slovenia's best alpine skier and winner of two Olympic gold medals in Sochi Tina Maze.
In 2012 Pošta Slovenije issued a postal stamp of judoka Urška Žolnir the winner of an Olympic gold medal in London and in 2008 a special postal stamp showing hammer thrower Primož Kozmus was issued.
The first postal stamps dedicated to Olympic gold winners were issued in 2000 showing rowers Iztok Čop and Luka Špik and shooter Rajmond Debevec.
