In Sofia the Slovenian team showed another dream performance, leaving Italy, a six-time European champion and a vice champion at the last two Europe's championships, completely in the shade.
A determined, confident, quality, motivated Slovenia dictated the rhythm throughout the match, losing only the second set by a tight margin (25:23) after having lead for the majority of this set, too. The most efficient member of the excellent Slovenian collective was its captain Tine Urnaut, who won 22 points. Andrea Giani's team will play against France in the grand finale on Sunday at 7.45 pm.
