The Bank Asset Management Company, Hypo Alpe Adria Bank and Banka Celje all have claims against the company.
The bad bank had taken over some EUR 90m in unpaid loans from T2. The loans were granted by two Slovenian largest banks NKBM and NLB. The banks say that the company’s bankruptcy will enable a more equal payout of creditors. T2 has not fulfilled its obligations to creditors as agreed on a court-mandated restructuring plan three months ago. It operates at an average high loss of almost EUR 8,000 per day, leaving creditors with less money day by day.
