Net profits, meanwhile, were 37.7 million euros, down from 46.3 million in the same period last year. Key performance indicators were higher than planned, Telekom announced via the website of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Telekom Slovenia is largest Slovenian telecommunications operator and is currently in the process of being privatized. It has continued with its efforts in staff restructuring. Thus, this year the number of employees in Slovenia were reduced by 150.
In the next year the company intends to reduce the number of employees in Slovenia by 250 and in the subsequent year by another 250. After that it only plans to lose employees through retirement. The Telekom Slovenia Group had 4,462 employees by the end of September this year.
