She noted, however, that she will not connect it to the measures, agreed upon today.The coalition partners have agreed on measures to compensate for the shortfall of some 200 million euros in this year's national budget after the annulment of the real-estate tax. Bratušek said that for the measures agreed upon today do not require major law changes and a majority of the work can be done by the government itself.

Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek said they will increase the efficiency of collecting public tax and secure 40 to 50€ million with the savings in the wider public sector. She also noted that the exercise duties, especially on tobacco and alcoholic beverages, will increase.
