An unknown man shot him in the upper body on a parking lot in front of a restaurant where Jamnik’s colleagues were at an official New Year’s dinner party. He left the car and started moving towards the restaurant when he was shot. The doctors have fought for his life for three days. The offender and the reason why he was attacked remain unknown.

The National Bureau of Investigation is asking the public to provide any information that might help the investigation.
