Today the constitutional judges did not make a decision. They intend to discuss the matter again next Thursday, when the final decision is expected.

The constitutional court is dealing with the case with absolute priority. First the decision regarding proposal for temporary stay is expected. If the constitutional judges temporarily suspend the decision, it would mean Janša's immediate return to the Parliament.
In the meantime the procedure for nomination of the alternate member of the parliament is taking place. The next in line for the position of the deputy from the SDS Party list, Božo Predalič, has accepted the mandate conditionally – he intends to join the parliament only in case the constitutional court confirms the dissolution of Janša's mandate, Radio Slovenia reports.

The Trenta Case still open
In the meantime the decision on the initiation of the investigation against Janša, the former president of Imos board Branko Kastelic, and the former director of Eurogradnje Klemen Gantar became final. They are under suspicion of abuse of authority or rights, Dnevnik newspaper reports – under suspicion is the sale of Janša's property in Trenta, and his purchase of an apartment in Ljubljana.

The SDS Party claims that it would be necessary to »quickly instrumentalize, and take out of mothballs the old story, denied and dealt with for innumerable times, about the purchase of the property in Trenta, for fear that the constitutional court might rule in favour of Janša's complaint, which would allow him to take his place in the National Assembly." They claim, once again, that Janez Janša bought the property with the money earned by sale of his books, and that the price of the property did not deviate from the average – while the state bodies had been "doing business with IMOS during the governing of all the governments".
