The responsible authorities in the Koroška, Gorenjska, Notranjska, Primorska, Posavje and Celjska region, are eliminating the consequences of the wind and are draining meteoric water. Several roads are closed due to fallen trees, and because some roads are completely flooded. In some places, the power supply is disturbed.
A few minutes before three in the afternoon, due to the increased Drava River flow, the Regional Information Center Maribor turned on a siren in order to warn the residents that live near the river about the danger of flooding. At half four in the morning, the river flow increased in Dravograd and reached more than 1,300 cubic meters per second.
In Primorska, Ilirska Bistrica and its surrounding areas suffered the most. There have been several exposed roofs, flooded cellars, flooded roads, and fallen trees.
