Andrej Koruza, Matej Rodela and Martin Šoštaršič, together with their team and friends, were knocking on wood for good luck. The "tok tok" knocking paid off after only two days.
Trobla was uploaded on the most well-known web crowdfunding platform on the 7th of April. On the 9th of April the Kickstarter webpage showed that Tok Tok already achieved its goal of raising 10.700 U.S. dollars. While you're reading this the product has now already raised more than 20.000 U.S. dollars. Pledges for Trobla will still be collected until the 17th of May, when the final raised amount is expected to be much higher than the designers' initial goal.
Commenting on remarks that the trio might have been too modest while setting its initial funding goal, Matej Rodela says: "Our goal was modest because everyone advised us like that. We set a funding goal which would enable us to start production and pay our friends who helped us with the campaign. We probably could have been more ambitious, but you can never know. We didn't expect Trobla to get such a response, not even in our wildest dreams."
