Agricultural Minister Dejan Židan explained after the government session that eight ministers were present at the session and that none of them voted against this list of candidates. He said that this list of candidates was among worse possibilities the best alternative.

Interior Minister Gregor Virant, left the session as he did not agree with the list of candidates put forward, saying he would not participate in this farce.
