The award of the jury for best lyrics went to Igor Pirkovič for the song Poseben lik (Special character), sung by Steffy. Rudi Bučar also received the award for best interpretation before he was announced as the recipient of the main award.

The audience award, received by Darja Švajger who sung Sončen dan, was given to her by the general director of RTV Slovenia Marko Fili. The best Slovenian popular song of 2014 or Slovenska popevka 2014 was, as mentioned, the song Ti, sung by Rudi Bučar. Bučar recently celebrated another victory at Melodije morja in sonca or the Mellodies of sea and sun festival. The jury was composed of Elza Budau, Marta Zore, Jernej Vene, Rudi Pančur and Matej Wolf.
