The history itself is very rich: the first World Cup to take place was back in 1967. This weekend is the start of a new season Sölden World Cup, which will offer 35 men's and 34 women's matches. There will be stop in Slovenia: women will be in Maribor on the 1st and 2nd of February. Men will be on the 8th and 9th of March. And, of course, the eyes of the country are also on Russia, which will host the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
